Draft — pending legal review.

User Agreement

The rules that apply when you use ChineseModels.ai, its console and its API. This page is a working draft and does not yet constitute a final agreement.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the ChineseModels.ai website, console and API. By creating an account, adding credit or sending a request, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping API keys secret, and for all activity carried out with your keys. Tell us promptly if a key is exposed so it can be revoked. Accounts are personal to the entity that registered them and may not be resold or shared outside your organisation without our written agreement.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the platform, including prompts and outputs, must comply with our Usage Policy and with the terms of the providers behind each model. Where those terms are stricter than ours, the stricter rule applies to that model.

4. Models, providers and output

Models are supplied by third-party providers and routed through our infrastructure. We do not create the models and do not warrant that any model will be accurate, complete, lawful for your purpose or continuously available. Output is probabilistic and should be reviewed before it is relied on. Rights in output are as granted by the applicable provider terms and by law; we claim no ownership of your prompts.

5. Fees and billing

Prices are shown per model in Model Square and may change as provider pricing changes. Usage is metered per request and deducted from your prepaid balance. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new price. Taxes, where applicable, are your responsibility. Refund and credit-expiry rules will be set out in the final version of these terms.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation in this draft. Features, endpoints and model availability may change; where a model is withdrawn we will give reasonable notice in the console when practical. You are responsible for monitoring your own integration and for handling errors and retries gracefully.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms or the Usage Policy are breached, where required by law or a provider, or where an account presents a security or fraud risk. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including payment obligations and disclaimers — continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits and loss of data. Any aggregate liability cap, and the law and forum that govern these terms, will be stated in the final version.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect. Questions about them can be sent to support@chinesemodels.ai. Our Privacy Policy explains how account and usage data are handled.
